Meet our Therapy Team
We are pleased to be working with CELT's Therapy Team this year to help every child feel supported, confident and ready to learn.
The team includes Educational Psychologists, a Speech and Language Therapist, a Paediatric Occupational Therapist and a Speech and Language Therapy Apprentice.
They work alongside school staff to make sure learners have the right support to succeed both in and out of the classroom.
Throughout the year, families may see members of the team in school. They may spend time observing learning, working with learners, supporting staff and sharing ideas that help create a positive and inclusive environment for all children.
Meet the team
Sarah King and Wendy Thomas, Educational Psychologists
Sarah and Wendy work with learners, families and school staff to understand each child's strengths and find ways to help them overcome challenges.
Together, they support learners to feel happy, confident and successful in school.

Louise Ryves, Speech and Language Therapist
Louise helps learners develop communication skills, from understanding instructions and expressing their needs to building conversations and friendships.
She works with learners to find practical ways to make communication easier.

Morwenna Boisseau, Paediatric Occupational Therapist
Morwenna supports learners with everyday activities at school and at home.
She helps identify what learners need to feel comfortable, confident and ready to learn, and works with families and staff to find practical solutions.
Working together
The Therapy Team plays an important role in helping our school provide the best possible support for every learner.
Please be assured that no individual assessment or direct therapeutic intervention will take place without your knowledge and consent. If a member of the team feels that more specialised support or assessment may be beneficial for your child, we will always contact you first to discuss this fully and explain the next steps.
By working closely with staff, learners and families, team members help create an environment where all children can thrive and reach their full potential.
We are delighted to have their expertise and look forward to sharing more about their work throughout the year.
