Poltair Opens its Doors to the Next Generation of Students

This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming more than 400 prospective families to a busy and successful Open Evening.

Visitors had the chance to explore the school, meet staff and discover what makes Poltair such a vibrant place to learn.

Students became tour guides for the night and proudly shared their experiences. They showed families around the school and answered questions about school life, lessons and extra-curricular opportunities.

There was a wide range of hands-on activities on offer throughout the open event. In science, visitors enjoyed exciting experiments.

In music, they were invited to pick up an instrument, and the PE department set a series of sports and fitness challenges to take part in. Every department offered engaging activities that gave families a taste of learning at Poltair.

Our staff welcomed guests throughout the evening and spoke about the school's curriculum, support systems and Poltair+ enrichment opportunities. Many families commented on the warm atmosphere and the confidence and enthusiasm shown by our students.

Mr Cardigan, Headteacher, said: “We were delighted to welcome so many families to our Open Evening. Our students represented the school brilliantly, and it was wonderful to share everything that Poltair has to offer.”

The evening gave families an excellent opportunity to experience the school first hand and begin their journey with the Poltair community.
