Training for the new Ten Tors recruits was like no other on Saturday 2nd November. The torrential rain and raging winds tested the team throughout!
Tia-Louise Townsend thought; 'Walk 2 was a very successful day. The elements challenged us but we powered on through - completing the route in the very little daylight hours we had. We all worked well as a team and pushed each other onwards even when times were hard. Conditions on the land and the weather made the day much harder but we continued to keep positive and push on. This walk went really well in terms of navigation and completion. We are all eager for the next walk and excited to get back out on the hill.'
Individuals are learning to draw on their mental strength to get the best from themselves and the team in challenging conditions.
Participants will be out training once again mid-November!
