How to find XP service pack version


  1. Click Start Menu > Run

    Start Menu > Run

  2. In the Run box that appears type winver then click ok.

  3. On the second line of the About Windows screen it will show the service pack number. If there is no service pack installed this line will finish after the build number.

Welcome to Remote Access Service. Currently this service will only work on computers running Windows XP Service Pack 3 or higher.


(What Windows XP Service Pack are you running - find out here. If you are not using Windows XP this check does not apply to you.)


We will hopefully add functionality for Mac users when the technology is available.


Instructions for use


Simply click the icon below and select open when prompted. Enter your school username and password into the login box that appears. Once you have logged in you should be presented with a desktop which allows you to work as if you were sat at your desk in school.


PLEASE NOTE: When logging on please add POLTAIRSCHOOL\ to the beginning of your username
