Co-Ordinator
Work Experience is normally offered to students in Year 10 as a block of 2 weeks in the summer term. Certain students may be offered Extended Work Experience for release on 1 or 2 days a week as a negotiated package at Key Stage 4.
"As the work experience co-ordinator for Poltair School it is my duty to make sure that all students have a work place for the work experience at the beginningof July. To help them find their work experience placement there is a website called learn about work where they can search for certain placements around certain jobs or certain jobs in specific locations.
Work experience is very important because it gives the students a chance to see what work life will be after school and prepare them for the next step in life."
