Sports Leader Award -

Level 1

 

WHAT IS IT?

 

This is a practical qualification where the pupils demonstrate knowledge and understanding mainly through physical competence. The candidate's ability as a competent leader will be assessed by observation rather than written work. The course takes approximately 2 terms (during PE lessons) to complete.

MODULE B

Practical leadership experience. Leading  small groups of children in sporting activities, such as festivals and coaching sessions. These are organised throughout the course in conjunction with the School Sports Partnership.
