Thirst Quenchers
We are learning to...
-
Create a presentation that sells our drink to the general public.
The challenge
You have 30 minutes to create a 5 minute presentation about how wonderful your drink is!
Your presentation will be judged on:
|
1. The drink has a good combination of ingredients that will taste nice together. |
|
2. The price is sensible and is likely to sell and make a profit |
|
3. The packaging is attractive and environmentally friendly |
|
4. The product uses a low amount of food miles |
|
5. The advertising campaign is thoughtful, attractive and interesting |
|
6. The presentation was professional and covered all key points
|
|
7. The group made thoughtful suggestions about how they would improve their product including the idea of making it more sustainable. |
- For each of the above factors you will be given a score from 1 - 5 (poor - excellent) and then a total score out of 35 marks.
- It would sensible for the people in charge of each section to talk about their part in the drink making process e.g. The Fruit Drink Creators should talk about ingredients and type of drink.
- You may use any props that are to hand to help in your presentation.
- Your presentation will be judged by the ‘Quality Controllers' in round one and a ‘celebrity' judging panel if you manage to make the finals.
- There are prizes for the best overall group, but also individual prizes will be awarded to pupils who work particularly well at various times throughout the day.
