Poltair pupils and staff gathered in two special assemblies last Friday to mark Remembrance Day. We were able to watch a film made about the History department trip to the World War 1 battlefields of Northern France and Belgium last April. In addition there was a special focus on former pupils of the school who died on active service in World War 2. The ceremony combined music, film and poetry in a moving tribute and ended with the observance of two minutes silence . Head Boy Dan Hall concluded with the playing of 'The Last Post'.
